The Cranfield University is inviting applications for British Council India 70th Anniversary Scholarship for Indian Women to pursue a Master's programme in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) in the United Kingdom.

Cranfield University is an exclusively postgraduate university that is a global leader for education and transformational research in technology and management, and one of Europe's largest academic centres for aerospace research, development and design. The School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing (SATM) is one of the largest providers of engineering education, research and technology support to aerospace industry.

If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

Scholarship Description

Applications Deadline: January 9, 2019
Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue Master degree programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study Masters Course in the areas of Aerospace, Transport Systems, Manufacturing, Energy and Power, Environmental Technologies and Water.
Scholarship Award: Scholarships are for full tuition fees. Living and other related expenses will be borne by the candidate.
Nationality: Indian women are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Scholarships are for Indian women wishing to study in a full-time Masters course in the areas of Aerospace, Transport Systems, Manufacturing, Energy and Power, Environmental Technologies and Water.

English Language Requirements: The minimum standard expected from a number of accepted courses are as follows:
IELTS – 6.5
TOEFL – 92
Pearson PTE Academic – 65
Cambridge English Scale – 180
Cambridge English: Advanced – C
Cambridge English: Proficiency – C
In addition to these minimum scores, you are also expected to achieve a balanced score across all elements of the test.

Application Procedure

How to Apply: Applicants wishing to be considered for this Scholarship should be applying to a full-time Masters degree in an eligible course.

Please indicate in your online application for admission (funding section) that you wish to be considered for nomination for the 70th Anniversary Scholarship. Please include a short statement describing your academic achievements, reasons for choosing to study at Cranfield and confirmation that you have the funding to cover your living costs during your study.
