Education is a harbinger of development, modernization and social change. A robust higher education system is very essential to generate new ideas and innovation that can propel global competitiveness and sustenance of a vibrant economy. A good quality higher education is a key to transition to knowledge economy.
The scope of legal education, liberal arts and social sciences has expanded with the changing nature of economy and society. There is an emerging trend in the academia to  integrate humanities, arts with  professional education, Science and Technology, Engineering, Medicine (STEM) courses in order to develop  all aspects of human beings – intellectual, aesthetic, social, physical, emotional and moral as part of holistic education to produce good human beings and to create a better world.
